After an extended career in customer service and customer service training in the airline industry, I have found that this experience gives me a unique approach to personal training. I have experience in a 1 to 1 capacity and I'm currently working in a corporate environment. I am NFPT and ISSA certified and also have a level 1 certification in TRX.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will begin by getting a health history and any physical injuries that may need to be considered. We will also talk about goals and goal setting. And I will make sure that I understand and hear what the client is saying.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified with NFPT and ISSA. I've also taken level one of TRX and I have participated and received a certificate in cadaver anatomy classes.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My fee is $75 for a 1 hour session.
How did you get started teaching?
I have taught many different things throughout my career. I enjoy personal training and have been working out for many years. I became certified and also trained under my husband who is a strength coach and personal trainer with 30 years of experience.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with anywhere from beginner to intermediate level students in the age range of 25 to 70 whose goals were primarliy weight loss and health.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise them to meet the teacher first to ensure compatibility.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why are they seeking help? What is their commitment? And what are their goals?
