Getting older has a way of slowly taking things from you. Your golf game. Morning walks. Keeping up with grandkids. Feeling strong and capable in your own body.

If you're ready to stop that from happening, you're in the right place.

I work with adults 60+ who are done being told "this is just part of getting older" and are ready to get stronger, move better, and get back to the life they want.

Some come to me with chronic pain that's been limiting them for years. Others just know they've gotten weaker and want to change that before it gets worse. Either way, we start where you are and build from there — safely, progressively, and specific to your body.

Strength — because nothing else improves without it

Mobility and flexibility — so movement feels easier and more natural

Posture and movement mechanics — fixing the root cause, not just the symptom

Getting back to the activities you love

    I have been working with Brian for about 2 years. As a 76 year old my intention was to improve strength and balance in order to prevent falls and improve my quality of life. As time went on I noticed my strength improved significantly and was lifting weights I never dreamed possible!
    This past winter I developed severe neck pain and had to take a 3 week hiatus from the gym. A neurosurgeon diagnosed it as severe osteoarthritis of my c-1 and c2.
    When I returned to the gym Brian adjusted our routines to lessen any aggravation to my neck, but very wisely included trapezius and neck strengthening exercises. I now look forward to my sessions with him as I am reaping the benefits.
    When I leave Florida and return to Michigan in the summer, I am on Zoom with Brian and don’t miss a beat. I don’t have a gym in my home but he is very helpful in suggesting devices that I can easily acquire. My “home gym” is tucked away in a closet until it is time to meet with Brian on Zoom. Truly, working out with Brian is one of the best decisions I have ever made!

    Ive worked with Brian for over 2 years, and Ive been very happy with his guidance. He is very knowledgeable, and does a good job of adding variety to the training program. He adapted my programs to suit my needs, and can tread the fine line of pushing me to my highest potential without pushing too hard. Whenever Ive encountered pain in a given exercise, he is able to make appropriate accommodations, and then works to actually resolve the root cause of the pain.     I’ve worked with Brian for the past two years after dealing with a lingering shoulder injury that kept limiting my workouts. What stood out immediately was that he didn’t force a one size fits all program. He actually listened, adjusted things based on how my body responded, and worked alongside my physical therapist to make sure everything supported my recovery instead of aggravating it.
    Over time, my shoulder became noticeably stronger and more stable, and I was able to train consistently without constantly worrying about setbacks. I feel stronger overall, move better, and have much more confidence in what my body can do.
    If you’re dealing with persistent pain or recurring setbacks, Brian brings a level of attention and problem solving that is difficult to find with traditional personal trainers.

    I was struggling with my quality of life due to back pain and an issue with my Meniscus. Brians ability to assess my situation and then develop a program that was customized to my needs was just phenomenal!
    He was able to teach me the proper way to stretch, do self message and work out. He gave me the tools to help me feel better, be fit and eat right. .
    Prior to seeing Brian I was unable to golf without pain for 8 years. Now, after 2 years, I have not had any pain since. My Meniscus pain is no longer an issue (and a Doctor wanted me to have surgery). I can golf, garden, go hiking and enjoy all the things I like. Plus I have this knowledge he has passed on to me that helps me maintain my well being.
    Im 61 years old. Ive never done a review of anything in my life...LOL. However, I feel like I have a new lease on life and I cant help but thank Brian for what he has done. If you think you need some help...this is the guy to see.

    As a dedicated, multi-decade couch, potato, I finally decided that to continue to live a full and happy life, I had to start getting some exercise and deal with a bad shoulder, which had just about taken my right arm completely out of action. It looked like surgery was on the horizon!
    Signing up with some ambivalence, I thought I would give Brian a try. Best decision ever!
    My shoulder and arm are now 100% due to Brian‘s hard work, tenacity, patience, and terrific, bio-mechanical knowledge. I am stronger all over, have better balance, and feel positive and proud.

    We start out with a 30 minute consultation to determine your needs and come up with a plan. After that, we schedule your first session where we will meet you where you are to heal any current injuries and prevent any future ones. You can typically expect to learn the exercises within the first few weeks and double your strength within the first couple of months.
    I am a CHEK Institute Certified Professional and have also taken post-graduate level courses with the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI). I have been working as a trainer for 11+ years and have helped hundreds of clients just like you to get OUT of pain and IN to shape!
    I suffered an injury when I first started working out which led me on an 8 year journey to heal my injury and I have been helping others heal their injuries and get strong and fit since then.
    I have worked with people from the age of 12 all the way up to 98. Where my skill set really shines is working with adults with minor-to-moderate chronic injuries/pain, helping them to heal from the injury and become strong and functional quickly.
    I recently helped a woman in her late 60's reduce her chronic back pain from a 7 down to a 1 and gain 1 1/2" in height by helping her fix her posture.
