Hidy Ochiai Karate, based in Vestal, New York, is a leading martial arts institution founded by Japanese native and U.S. citizen, Hidy Ochiai. Established with a mission to spread the art of Washin-ryu Karate-do, the foundation now boasts 25 branches across the United States. Ochiai, a renowned martial artist, holds an unduplicated record of winning the United States Grand National Karate Championship five consecutive years. He was twice inducted into the Black Belt Magazine’s Hall of Fame and the Martial Arts History Museum's Hall of Fame in Los Angeles.
