Our first meeting is a complimentary in-person or phone consult, during which we can answer your questions and gather information on medical history, lifestyle and current fitness level, as well as identify clear goals. That information will be used to design a fitness program that includes our training sessions together as well as guidelines for the rest of your week.
I am an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and an RYS Yoga Instructor with a particular interest in strength training, body-positive fitness, endurance sport and mind/body health. I've been a (sometimes competitive) distance runner since age thirteen, have taught a children’s running program for 10-14 year olds, and have studied and been committed to fitness for over thirty years. I have over two decades of experience as a meditator and mindfulness instructor within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, and hold a Masters Degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University, where my thesis work focused on the holistic treatment of eating disorders.
Our team of trainers brings a similar background in both traditional personal training as well as modalities that address the mind/body connection (kinesiology, yoga, martial arts, dance, pilates and barre). Everyone on the Evolve team holds a professional fitness certification as well as at least a bachelor's degree. We continue to learn and grow as fitness professionals through additional certifications in Functional Aging, TRX, Nutrition, etc.
Private sessions start at $70 for a single session, with package rates that bring the price down as low as $65 per session.
Couples sessions start at $90 for a single session, with package rates that bring the cost down to $80 per session.

In my own life I have experienced the value and importance of maintaining strength, flexibility and endurance throughout life. I also know the challenge of prioritizing time for health and self-care amidst life's busy pace. This work grew from my desire to support others in staying active and strong, because I believe it dramatically impacts how we live and experience our lives. Our goal as a business is to make it convenient for clients to stay healthy, fit and active.
Our clients have ranged from 10 years old to 70 year old, of every fitness level! We work with clients who have major weight loss goals, who want to build muscle or strengthen bones, who are recovering from injuries or illness, training for half marathons, new to using weights, postpartum or rehabbing injuries. We love to help our clients build health and strength starting wherever they are right now!
