About
Fit With Sherry is total body wellness. Not only do we work on the physical but also the mental and spiritual. Fitness is about the totality of the person and giving the guidance and teaching to take it one step at a time with the encouragement and push needed at the right times.
Seeing a client make those small steps to their bigger goals is rewarding but the biggest enjoyment is the confidence I see my clients gain as they accomplish those steps.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before a training session begins, an initial consultation is a must. This is were we meet, ask each other questions, make sure we will have a good working relationship and then move forward with paperwork and scheduling. At this time the trainee will see where we will train and what is expected as far as punctuality, attire and payment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education is through experience and books. ISSA is the school with which I hold a certificate as a Certified Fitness Trainer, Specialist in Fitness Nutrition, Transformation Specialist,Certified Genetics-Based Program Designer, Specialist in Group Fitness and Specialist in Strength and Conditioning. My CPR/AED certification is through National Health Care Provider Solutions and my boxing training comes from Coach Luis Melendez and Caoch Nelson Perez.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is according to ages 17 and younger and 18 and over. Prices are per session.
How did you get started teaching?
I started my journey as a trainer because of my passion to teach what I already knew to a couple friends who in turn asked me why am I not a personal trainer and one of which who sent me information on a school for the certification. The boxing training was due to my love of the sport and being in training and seeing my coaches training young kids, not only in the ring but also in life. As soon as I passed my certification I told my Coach, Luis, and he asked me if I wanted to train the guys. I said sure and right there on the spot was my first training session and it was a great feeling!
What types of students have you worked with?
My students have ranged in age from a 14 year old baseball player who needed more flexibility to a 60 and 70 year old who wanted quality of life. I have trained 12, 13 and 36 year olds in boxing basics, a 27 year old in weight training for his wedding day and a 25 year old for weight loss! No matter your goal I can help you achieve it!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The Backyard Vendor Fair! This is my 6th year hosting and we have gone from my backyard with 19 vendors to 119 at the Macungie Memorial Park. I love putting it together and seeing all the vendors supporting each other! I even teach a boxing basics segment during the event and everyone can participate!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You must be committed to obtaining your goals no matter the cost. You get what you pay for in all aspects of life. Your health is no different. You can't take short cuts. If you are a short cut kind of person you need to work on your thought process before beginning an exercise program with a trainer.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask yourself why are you searching for a trainer? Is this for me or someone else? You must have a strong why because it will help will push you on the days you want to quit.
