About this pro

I'm a lifelong fitness enthusiast and certified personal trainer from the National Strength  and Conditioning Association (NSCA).  I’m experienced at modifying activities for people with medical conditions and disabilities, fitness is for everyone!

I enjoy assisting people in developing training plans that are individualized and adaptable.  As people get fit and stronger these individualized adaptable plans keep people engaged and open to new types of fitness activities.

I've been a fitness enthusiast since I was 19 years old. My fitness contributed to my survival and rehabilitation after a serious industrial accident when I was 23 years old. I became a Rehabilitation Counseling and a Licensed Professional Counselor. As a result of my personal rehabilitation process post accident I've become skilled at developing modified equipment and workouts around any limitation. In 2016, I became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength & Conditioning Association.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I meet with an individual for an intial assessment to determine fitness goals, past types of training and gather medical information for any medical restrictions or past injuries. We'll developp an intitial exercise plan taking into account any medical restrictions and goals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a master's degree in rehabilitation counseling and I'm a certified personal trainer through National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I charge $60/session for an individual, $75/session for couples.

How did you get started teaching?

I'm been exercising since age 19, at age 23 i was seriously injured in an industriaL accident. I suffered permament injuries to my left arm, wrist and hand. I resumed exercising and gradually learned to adapt over the years. I started teaching friends and family different ways to get fit or stay fit with suggestions that I should be a personal trainer.
