I have been involved in the fitness industry since the late 1980’s. My philosophy for training clients is to teach proper form and safety while making the workouts both fun and energizing. “There is nothing more satisfying then watching people achieve their personal fitness goals”.
With a focus on functional fitness I believe that your workouts should be all about training your body to handle real-life situations. All of my fitness programs utilize fitness equipment that incorporates functional fitness principals such as the TRX Suspension straps, the bosu, medicine balls and free weights.
Drawing on my fitness background, my yoga classes focus on building strength and increasing flexibility. I believe that the key to a successful practice is meeting the physical body’s limitation with peaceful acceptance and moving fearlessly into the possibilities of greater strength and flexibility through patience and practice. Always ensuring that the class environment is a safe, non-competitive, non-judgmental space where variations of each pose are offered to allow any level of practitioner to attend.
