About this pro

After struggling for years with being overweight during my younger years, I was motivated to make a change within myself. Via a newly adopted workout regiment and healthy eating habits, I was able to lose weight, gain muscle, and maintain this lifestyle for many years after.

This "NEW ME" was in good enough shape to land an athletic scholarship playing college football at Jackson State University, and later becoming a high school coach in multiple sports, where I managed the strength and conditioning programs.

Eventually I found my "why", my calling, my reason for being here. It is to help people!

I took everything I had learned from my personal fight with being overweight, and my experience with helping young athletes develop, and decided to enter the Health and Fitness Industry. Now I can inspire others to overcome the same obstacles that I once thought were impossible!

When I first met Nic I was very disappointed in myself ,overweight ,discouraged and needed motivation. He is the guy. He evaluated me made a plan, set goals and sent lots of encouragement. He’s tough you think oh this is smooth sailing but then it hits you like a ton of brick ,oh wow!! I am sore. I lost pounds and many sizes with all his help. Of course ,I had to do my part but he is very diligent about his work and I would recommend him to anyone even the ones that need to be motivated. Best trainer I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Flexible what ever works for you he will make it happen. Try him out you can’t go wrong!!!!

Does a great job of motivating you and pushing you to your limit without having to get in your face and scream. Very attentive to your limitations and makes adjustments but will not let you give up.

Nic is great! He's very encouraging while making sure you are pushing yourself!

Worth the time and money. He is a phenomenal trainer, pushes you to your limits and makes sure you’re safe doing it. Never did I think I would be weight training where I am now, he is here to push you as far as you want to go.

How did you get started teaching?

I have always been a teacher at heart. Coaching athletes was probably what thrust me into this position. Sports performance training brought the attention to me that drew interested from the general public; everyone always seen me working out with people because I loved helping people, so they requested my training services. I became certified, and here I am today.

Athletes (15yr - 21yr preparing for upcoming season)

Youth (4yr - 12yr)

Senior Citizens (70yr +)

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Creating a workout regiment that allowed my client (let's call her Monica) to get in better physical condition while training with her family member.

Not only was she able lose body fat and become more active, she was able to do this while simltaneously spending quality time with her two children and sister.

I take this small event very seriously. Not only did we find a way to help "Monica" enhance her health, but the fact that a pricing/operation strategy was created that fit all parties involved, we assisted in family building as well.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Don't be over-analytical. It's hard to pick the right person the first time. Chances are this will be a trial and error process. So start somewhere. . .start with somebody. . . bottom line, just get started.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What is your fundamental belief system?

What is important to you in life...what values?

How can you keep me motivated when I decide to cut corners?

Are you able to work with my budget?

My schedule is volatile, how can you be flexible to work with me?
