Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The student will come to Windsor CityLine (in Richardson). We will first discuss the client's goals and a preferred timeline for achieving those goals. This leads to a written plan.
Then we move to the gym- and do what we do best. Workout!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified Personal Training, Certified yoga Instructor.
I've personally lost 80lbs myself back in 2015 and kept it off since then. I can make diet recommendatins and monitor the exercise routine from firsthand experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Single Sessions: $100/hour
Package of 20 sessions: $95/session (full price payable up front for discount). **best for those on 3 month plans or longer
How did you get started teaching?
I was overweight myself, hired a trainer, he changed my life. I then became a trainer myself and carry on that message of hope from my personal success story.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all types, but find I specialize in women's overall health and weightloss.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a client say "I'm so proud of myself! I'm actually doing this!". That's what makes my job the best. We ARE actually doing this.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you like your trainer! You'll be spending lots of hours with them and they're your guide on this journey. Also make sure they've had experience and keep their own body in check.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1) What are my goals? (ex: I want to lose 30lbs by October for my daughter's wedding)
2) Do I have the humility to let this trainer guide me to that goal? Even if it's hard to do what they say? (ex: change your diet, do workouts in a different way than you're used to, less drinking, etc)
