Vision Martial Arts/Action Self Defense opened in 1995 and is top rated by Dallas A List and Expertise.com. We have a 5 star rating with Google. We offer a variety of different styles of martial arts plus individual, travel, womens, teens and corporate self defense classes. Our class schedule is both flexible and convenient, and our instructors individuate their teaching to each students individual needs. Our program is 50% real world self defense, and 50% character development such as focus, confidence , respect and more.
Owner Diane Reeve is a 8th degree blackbeltin Taekwondo with black belts in 3 other styles. She was inducted into the Masters Hall of Fame and TKD Female Master of the Year USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame. She holds a Masters degree in Education. www.vmacplano.com www.theactionselfdefense.com
Vision Martial Arts was founded on the principle of “Building Positive Life Skills Through Martial Arts”. All of the instructors at VMAC/ASD are dedicated to providing world class self defense in a positive , fun , yet disciplined enviornment. We are a family oriented school, beloved by both adults and children. 30 years teaching experience, 8thdegree black belt in TaekwonDo, black belts in 3 other styles, Masters Degree in Education.

Tuition for karate classes and self defense classes are standard and are available on request.
How did you get started teaching?
It has always been my passion to help others. I befan my career as a Regiatered Nurse but after getting into karate found that teaching martial arts was the perfect fit for me. I quit my nursing job, opened VMAC in 1995 and I have never looked back. I have oromoted over 200 people to black belt.
What types of students have you worked with?
People from all walks of life, all ages and experience levels.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look foe someone with experience, credentials, compassion, and excellent teaching skills.
