Fundamental Fitness is a personal training and boot camp business that encompasses all aspects of fitness. If your goal is to lose weight, increase muscle and energy, become stronger or maintain functional strength, we can help you achieve all your fitness goals.

At Fundamental Fitness, my mission is to provide my clients with the best service, and support you in achieving any of your fitness goals! You can always count on me to do this with energy and enthusiasm

I work as a personal fitness trainer in Sussex, WI with over 20 years of experience and multiple certifications including A.C.E. ,A.F.A.A. and an A.F.T.A. youth athletic certification I specialize in in-home personal training and have helped many individuals reach their goals and increase their fitness capacity. I can work with you as an individual or in a group with a max of four people. Each session lasts approximately one hour.

My training programs include strength, cardio, flexibility, plyometrics and core training. I can support you in your nutrition goals and do have access to a registered dietitian . I also work with a myriad of health professionals from PTs, Chiropractors, sports physicians, massage therapists and more.

I have owned and operated multiple fitness training businesses in multiple states and countries. Moving my businesses has given me the unique opportunity and experience of running my business in multiple countries, while maintaining long term clients, some for as long as 18 years through an online platform which gives me the versatility to work anywhere as your skilled personal trainer to support my clients in achieving their fitness goals!

I Love my job! I have met some of the most amazing people over my career and am excited to continue my success as I support my clients in Sussex and surrounding communities. I offer outdoor group classes at parks in the area, personal training in-home , online, or in my home studio gym located in Sussex.     I typically have an initial evaluation, where we will go over health and exercise history.We can go over setting realistic goals and expectations and a realistic time frame in how to reach those goals. 

    I have been a certified personal trainer for over 20 years. I have multiple certifications including A.C.E, Canfit pro and a certification in youth athletic training from AFTA. I have worked with clients from the age of 14-92 and have made a remarkable difference in peoples lives from a wellness standpoint. I have operated multiple training businesses in multiple countries and have also been able to operate my training business on a virtual platform.

    My pricing goes as follows.

    1 on 1 personal training $50 per session

    5 sesssion for $235

    10 sessions for $450

    20 sessions for $800

    Couples or Family Training

    1 session $80

    5 sessions $300

    10 sessions $550

    20 sessions $1000

    30 sessions $1300

    Fitness has always been a big part of my life. I have participated in multiple sports throughout grade school and high school. I have been an avid runner most of my life and have competed in tough mudder events and marathons. For me the most important thing you can do is take care of your health. I am fortunate enough to have chosen a career that supports people in achieving and maintaining their health and fitness goals

    I have worked with all types of clients, from competitive athletes to older adults just trying to keep their functional strength. I have worked with 

    I especially love working with athletes. I have worked with athletes from all different sports including football, lacross, basketball, tennis, cheerleaders etc. The best thing about working with this group of clients is the confidence that changes in them. I have experienced working with a 14 year old soccer player weighing 96lbs and by the end of high school that same athlete weighing 170lbs excelled in both soccer and lacross. 

    The best piece of advice to a new client is that you will not change overnight. Whether your goal is weightloss, adding strength and muscle or coming back from an injury. It is going to take a commitment of time and effort. A realistic time frame that I tell clients is to give it 6 months of consistant effort and commitment. This includes exercise,nutrition and rest. One of the biggest pieces of advice for youth athletes to get bigger, stronger and faster would be to give your body ample rest between workouts. There is no need to be in the gym for several hours a day. You also need to fuel your body with proper nutrition. 

    Are they ready to change? Are they ready to make a commitment to themselves and their health? It takes a commitment and if they are ready to take that leap I can support them in achieving any of their fitness goals.
