    Frequently asked questions

I like to sit down with a potential client and discuss their current physical activity level, eating, sleeping habits and other general lifestyle habits.  We would go through their occupation, injury history, or exercise concerns. I would ask them what they expect from me, their goals, fears.  Anything that’s pertinent to creating a successful path for the client and making them feel comfortable and trusting with me.  It’s a comfortable conversation to see if I’m a good fit and if we are compatible.

I’ve been a certified personal trainer for 10 years.

no contracts, pay as you go or you can sign up for as many as you like.

Ive been active my whole life.  I originally went to school for physical therapy.  I’ve always had an interest in the human body.  After learning how to take of myself through activity and nutrition, I believed I was ready to help others that wanted to get in better shape.

I’ve worked with a diverse group of clients.  Men, women, older, younger, active or inactive.  I’ve come across all walks of life.  I really enjoy the general population to train.  I want people to learn how to exercise more efficiently and effectively in order to live their strongest, best life.  A stronger body makes life’s activities easier to perform.

do your homework on your trainer. Ask questions, a lot of questions.  What is the trainers future plans? Are they doing this for their career? Most want a reliable trainer that get to know their client inside and out. The longer you work with a trainer, the more familiar you become with each other. Communication becomes better, lifestyle is clearer, goals can be reached.

Is this trainer a good fit for me?  Is he/she tailoring a workout program for me or is he/she giving me a cookie cutter program?   Does the trainer have my best interest at hand or are they in it for a paycheck?
