About
We do things differently here. We are the anti-fitness industry fitness specialists! Fed up with the way the fitness industry created such divisive and unrealistic view on getting in shape, I set out to change the way people thought about fitness. ChrisFit LA does exactly that by making getting your ideal body obtainable without dreading each workout and eating chicken and broccoli 6 times a day. Whether it's through our one on one training, small group or fitness classes you're going to be looking and feeling your best. Period. We want to maintain the best service possible so we like to keep our client base small, because results are our number one priority. We don't just work with anyone to make a quick buck. That's not our MO. This is exclusive one of a kind progressive and evidence based training. We're not a big corporate gym that trains everyone the same way with cookie-cutter routines. Each program is uniquely customized for that specific client based on their wants and needs. So get ChrisFit, you owe it to yourself!
I enjoy so many things about this line of work. There's nothing quite like using your passion to help others change thier lives. Working out can do so many things from increasing someone's confidence to losing weight and everything in between. I'm just greatful to be able to be the guiding force in that process. I enjoy seeing clinet's change and become stronger as well. I love it all!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
After deciding if we are a good match for each other, I like to give an assesment and discuss your goals. All forms will be electronically sent to you so we don't have to worry about wasitng time in person filling them out. That way on our first meeting we can get right to what you want; results. From there we will compelte our first workout by going over the basic key movements such as squats and planks. These are the movements that everyone should master in order to build a solid foundation. Each subsequent workout will be more and more tailored to your specific needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I majored in Kiniseolgy which is the study of the human body and it's movement. I am also a certified personal trainer.

After my college studies I competed and won a bodybuilidng competition. Then immediately became certified in Personal Training because I knew it was my calling and I loved to help people. I dove straight in to teaching clients and friends and then started my business.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with everyone from high school and college athletes to the elderly and everyone in between. Most often I work with people who are looking for a change. Maybe you're tired of being tired all the time. Or maybe you're carrying a little too much weight and want to tone up. Whatever your goals are, we're here to help.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I started working with a lady who had lots of joint pain and who had recently become diabetic. With our trianing she's lost 40lbs, no longer had knee and ankle issues and does not have diabetes anymore, amazing!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure your trainer looks the part. It's extremely important to practice what you preach. I would also just say make sure you're consistent with your training that's one of the most important aspects!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Would you rather workout at home or outdoors or at a gym? What are your goals? Are you ready to commit? What are you expecitng from your trainer?
