FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We start my going over a health history form that includes, goals, past injuries, medications and past experience with training/exercise.

We always perform a dynamic warm up and then move into appropriate exercises that are tailored to client specific goals.

Within the first week of working with a new client, we do a Initial Fitness Assessment.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a licensed Physical Therapist with over 18 years of experience. I am ACE and CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) certified. I am also a Certified Nutritionist with the American Academy of Sport Dieticians and Nutritionist.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What are their specific S.M.A.R.T. goals. Do they have injuries to be aware of. What are realistic results that can be expected in a specific timeframe. Does the facility have a consistent and safe nutrition program to go along with training programs.
