Strength For Humans
About
I train humans around their biological characterstics. We were shaped via standing, walking, running, and throwing primarily. Optimization of those aspects of our movement enables us to effectively create leverage in our bodies to decompress our joints, hydrate our tissues more effectively, and move pain free.
Helping fellow humans to live without pain, and to see life more mechanistically, looking at the intracacies of how everything is interconnected. If you want more information on what mechanistic thinking is, look up mechanistic thinking and Jauque Fresco on youtube.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Gait Cycle and Posture assesment after a health history and general overview of their goals, habits, lifestyle, injuries, problems, roadblocks, etc. Following that it'll be an intro to the basics of Functional Patterns, typically breathing mechanics, and then some dynamic work to get a handle on how the client learns best from me. If needed we'll intro some corrective work as well (it's typically much needed).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a Functional Patterns Human Biomechanics Specialist, Certified Functional Strength Coach, and Licensed Massage Therapist. I've also done my bachelors degree in exercise science.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing is a sliding scale depending on the number of sessions you commit to both over a long term basis as well as a weekly basis. For example, if you commit to a year of training with me, each session will be less expensive than if you are just going to join me for a couple of weeks and be done. We can't really accomplish too much in a short period of time when it comes to making dynamic structural changes on the human body.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with olympic level athletes, your grandmother, as well as her grand-daughter. I've worked with injury rehab cases, chronic pain, surgery recovery, surgery prevention, performance enhancement, etc. Functional Patterns is able to encompass training for humans because it's foundation is the foundation of human biomechanics.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who is a Fucntional Patterns Human Biomechanics Specialist. Learn about Anatomy Trains. Understand that you probably don't know anything about how your body functions mechanically. That knowledge has been lagging behind in the scientific research field and especially in the applied field fo a long time now.
