What’s up guys, my name is Ruben Garcia. I understand choosing a coach for the future trajectory of your son or daughter can be difficult, so here’s a little background information on me so you can get to know who your child is working with. I’m from Miami, Florida born from an immigrant family. I taught myself how to speak English in the greatest country in the world which gave me the opportunity to purse my dreams as a professional athlete. I grew up starting to play at 8 years old and worked my way into playing for some of the best teams in the country including Team Worth ranked 3rd in the state of florida with a 6th place finish in Cooperstown then for the very prestigious FTB organization from ages 9-17. After high school I attended Alabama State Division 1 university as an infielder. I then transferred to EFSC(eastern FL state college) where we had 5 draftees including myself and a total of 8 players play professionally. After EFSC I was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 14th round as a pitcher (converted SS/UTIL)

After 4 seasons in the Orioles farm system I was purchased first overall in the Rule 5 Draft by the Detroit Tigers where I pitched for 2 more seasons. Afterwards I was then selected again in the rule 5 draft by the Houston Astros where I spent the ‘22 season.

After injury and being released, I then signed with the Kansas City Royals and played with multiple independent organizations afterwards.

My story is filled with ups and downs and learning to deal with the rollar coaster ride that is a career in professional baseball. If you’re looking for guidance there’s no better place to look
