I'm a heavier runner. To be honest, I walk mostly with some jogging. I'm not someone you'd think of when you think of a person hiring a running coach. But working with Amanda has been fabulous for me. I've done 4 different 5K/5mile races and I've hit a personal record each time. Amanda helped me come up with a training schedule that would build speed and endurance. She coached me on injury avoidance (it's super easy to injure yourself as a heavier walker/jogger!) and encouraged me to keep up with my workouts. I'm achieving fitness goals I never thought possible and I'm really enjoying it. Soon Amanda will help me train for a 10K. A year ago I couldn't even complete 6.2 miles!
