About
I focus on all-around wellness. For strength training we use the ARX machine (only location in Indy) as well as traditional weights. This benefits all areas of wellness from weight loss, to toning, to disease prevention. There are a variety of ways we can incorporate cardio training as well. This varies depending on the likes and dislikes of the client! Naturally nutrition will be addressed as well as mental well-being.
I love seeing the transformations in people physically and mentally!! I've been training for over 13 years, 10 of which have been independently. More info including pricing and ARX videos are on my website at www.IndyFitnessEssentials.com.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to meet with the person first for a complimentary Fitness Fundamentals session. During this session we'll talk about the person's health history and goals. I'll also take him/her through a quick workout on the ARX machine so that I can show the differences in this type of workout.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm certified through NASM (National Academy for Sports Medicine) and have a specialization in Corrective Exercise Strategy (CES). I've been training for over 13 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We have an introductory rate of $240 which includes two half hour sessions per week. One with Claudia to focus on functional movement and one with me to focus on strength training and any other goals of the client.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask about certification (should be nationally recognized) and experience. The certification is a great start but doesn’t hold a candle to experience! How to read people and adapt the program cannot be taught. Also check on their nutrition knowledge as many pt certs don’t cover this topic!
