Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I evaluate the level first, if it's a beginner, I start with setting a goal, explanation & demonstration of the correct grip & proper positioning on the court. At the beginning, we work on separate strokes like forehand, backhand , volley & serve & gradually progress forward.
When the person is not a beginner, I create drills to work on a weaker point, we work on the footwork & I make sure we hit a rally at some point during the session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am also AAA/ISMA & NFPT certified. ( personal trainer )
it of course helps me to understand how our bodies work which is important when it comes to injuries
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $60/hour
How did you get started teaching?
I used to play pro but unfortunately got injured & had to quit my professional career.
Tennis is part of my life , so I couldn't let it go completely, so I decided to start teaching & help other people reach their goals
What types of students have you worked with?
I teach kids & adults, any level from beginners to advanced
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You have to set a goal & be committed & dedicated if you want to see a progress. Tennis is a difficult sport to learn but everything can be achieved as long as you work for it.
Nd it will be my pleasure to help you 😊
