About this pro

It’s small group training which provides the attention of personal training and the support of a group. It’s an outdoor class which is a bonus😎. We meet at Huguenot Park every M/W 8:30 a.m. I started training women in 2007 as KYA Boot Camp. I’m ACE certified as a CPFT and also have a Weight Mgmt Cert. Come and try it out! Check out

Making exercise a regular part of someone's life is huge! It transforms you mentally, emotionally and physically (if you pay attention to your diet!).  I work with women who do not love the gym, won't go to the gym. For this type of person, I'm providing something they've been looking for but haven't been able to find.

I highly recommend KYA. Jennifer gets to know each of her clients and their individual needs from the start. She is a knowledgeable trainer in all areas of health, and because of this, you truly get the full package with her. Her workouts are fun, challenging, and individualized to help you reach your personal goals. She is amazing!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Converse, assess, give tailored modifications for their needs and give first group session as a free trial.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been certified and a boot camp owner/small group trainer since 2007. My certification is with ACE. I attend conferences and webinars to stay current.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

The class is $120/month or pay the drop in rate (space available) of $20/session

How did you get started teaching?

I began weightlifting when I was 25 and loved it! I have years of gym experience and after having two kids decided to get my certification and open my own business.

What types of students have you worked with?

Women of all ages but mostly the over 38 years of age set.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

The top 2 questions to ask are time and location! If these aren't a good fit, you need to look elsewhere before asking fitness questions.
