I’ve never lifted and got better but also have my body not hurt and this is something DM Athletics made achievable for me.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Contact me and let me know you are interested then we can set up an evaluation at our gym. Once we finish the evaluation we can recommend the best program to help you reach your goals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

How did you get started teaching?

I played football at the University of Washington and experienced a season ending injury that changed the course of my career. After graduating I started to work with Bellevue Football team from 2008 to 2012 and started my own business.  My obsession was to figure what could have been done better to help me avoid the injury and overcome it.

Today my staff and I work with soccer clubs, football athletes and teams, basketball, volleyball, baseball and track athletes.  We help all our athletes improve speed, agility, vertical and mental toughness so they perform at their best.

What types of students have you worked with?

All athletes of all ages.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

One of our soccer teams are ranked #1 in the country.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Meet with a couple and go with who you think will give you the best chance to achieve your goals. If you work with someone and you don't get the result you were looking for, try another coach. Always be focused on your goal.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

If they really want to achieve their goal. If you are not a 10 out of 10 in terms of commitment, don't contact us. We're only interested in working with athletes that are serious about their goals.
