Newsflash. Just because you are getting older doesn't mean you have to feel old.
I know this because I am officially old and most of my clients are in the 40-70 age range. I have been training clients for over 15 years and the cool thing is that you can turn back the clock. I focus on quality of life. That means becoming more mobile, getting rid of aches and pains, getting strong and shedding fat.
There are many ways to do this. My people all have different backgrounds, personalities but they share the same goal of being able to be more active and enjoy life more.
Getting older is inevitable but feeling older is a choice. I grew up a tall, skinny, weak kid with asthma. I know what it is like to be unhappy with your body and how it affects your self-esteem. As we get older, the effects of life can start limiting what we can do. You may be reading this thinking you are too old/out of shape/ injured to ever be "normal" again. But it isn't true.
I have been training clients in the privacy and comfort of their homes for over 15 years now. All my people have been with me at least a year with the exception of one. Of those the majority have been with me 5-10 years. I would like to think it is my sparkly personality and sense of humor. More likely it is the fact that they trust me to keep them safe.
Some people like a coach coming over for the long-term to guide them through workouts. Others hire me for the short-term to get ideas on how they can get in shape themselves. Either way works for me. The bottom line is I want you to get results.

I love being able to fix people. Let's be clear abot this. I am not a Doctor or a Chiropractor and I don't pretend to be but I have a number of people who have had chronic pain and limited mobility that have been getting treatment for years. Some have given up doing some of the hobbies and sports they love and others are on the edge of accepting this as getting old.
What I am saying is that a lot of my people come to me after they have tried everything else. I love seeing the look in their eyes when they can see improvement.
Even better is hearing the stories they tell about feeling decades younger. I have a guy in his 60's who was on the verge of giving up skiing because of the pain. Now he has trouble getting friends his age to go with him because he can go all day and they tap out after a few hours. That is cool.
Michael is an excellent personal trainer. He listens to what your concerns are, and takes that into account as he designs each home workout, being sure to balance the exercises to maintain and develop better conditioning, flexibility and balance. He understands the difference between counseling millennials and baby boomers, and he tailors the workouts to be age-appropriate. I strongly recommend him as an in-house personal trainer.
Michael has provided workout sessions for my husband and I off and on for 13 years. Our sessions are an hour, and we focus on different areas every week. Before you make a decision, I always insist on having a free 30 minute consultation either in person or over the phone. I need to know your goals, background and get a sense if we will be a good fit. I need you to have a chance to ask me questions and if you are comfortable, we can start training.

I started because I wanted to get out of the corporate world and start my own business. I grew up with asthma and was very skinny and weak. Learning how to be fit has turned my life around. Now that I am getting older, there is a real issue with my clients having neck, back, hip, knee and foot pain. My focus is in fixing these aches and pains, gettin gyou stronger and more flexible. If we can do that, then weight loss becomes effortless.
My people are beteen 40 and 70 ish. If you are younger, I will make exceptions. I just find that age group to really want to improve their quality of life. They tend to listen better because they realize the consequences. They want to get back to doing the things they enjoy. Many times they can't due to old injuries, being out of shape or just not knowing what to do. My goal is to get you ready to do anything you want.
