What types of students have you worked with?
My students range in age from 30's to 90's. I work with athletes trying to get out of pain, moms who want to get into and stay in shape and healthy to those suffering from chronic conditions and chronic pain. I am passionate about teaching the MELT Method and MELT Performance and offer workshops, classes and series events that are listed on my website. I have a group of yogis that I teach MELT to once a month. We dive a little deeper into MELT wvery month and I see the progress they are making in getting and keeping themselves out of chronic pain.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher who really listens to your needs and goals. I love my students. We have built wonderful friendships and I really want what is best for them. Find someone you click with and trust.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Aside from asking about a teachers' certifications, its good to know if a teacher has experience in dealing with what your needs are. If you've had a knee replacement and your teacher has worked with students with joint replacements in the past, the teacher has learned so much from those past students that you will benefit from that experience.
