I believe there is no one-size-fits-all solution to fitness and everyone should be able to learn and progress at their own pace. At Beyond Human Fitness, my personal training expertise will help you reach your goals—and then go Beyond them. I have been a Certified Personal Trainer/Coach since 1990. I have worked with children, the elderly, vets, and the disabled.
I have certifications from NASM and NCCPT and include, CPT, Group X, Zumba, CN (Certified Nutritionist), WFS (Women Fitness Specialist) and, LCSS (Lower Cross Syndrome Specialist).
Our health is the most important possession we own, without it our career, family and social life no longer function. Activities you once enjoyed are no longer available to you, either through an inability to participate, or a lack of confidence to take part.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is meet\greet (assessment). This is the most important, it is to determine whether we're a good fit or not. At that time we discuss goals, objectives in REAL terms. We take a few measurements to determine BF%, lean mass, BMI-BMR, correct calories.
We set time, date, and location.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified through NASM, NCCPT, Red Cross (CPR/AED), Continuing edcation.2 years college of science (Anatomy, Kinesiology, exercise physiology and nutrition). 30+years of experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$60/session (session = 45min-60min). Sessions are bought in groups of 6, paid upfront (Visa, square, Cashapp, Venmo, Zelle, and of course cash) Once we start the next set of the session will be due on the 5th session)
How did you get started teaching?
I'm a vet I started my instruction in 1986 U.S. Military. When I came home it was a passion.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with 8yr. olds - to 75. Disabled, vets, women, women in pregnancy.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Several ladies who are in my group class for several years joined us as a Team and ran not 1 Spartan type race but 3. They completed with no injuries, so much fun. They never thought that they would ever do it. 1 lady is 47 the other 53. They had some knee and flexibility issues when they started, but now they have more confidence, stamina, flexibility, and mobility than ever before.
Prepared several of my now Athletes in Bodybuilding to compete at there best condition ever and win. Each process is 12 weeks. From training, nutrition, posing to actual walking on the stage.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
1. Make sure you meet them and you have a connection
2. Make sure they are listening to you and your goals and objectives
3. Make sure they are self-insured and qualified
4. Don't be afraid to ask questions
