He was great showing me techniques and was able to apply his knowledge in a qualified manner to help me understand what I need to improve on. I highly recommend taking lessons with him

  • Kali Whitewaters

Focuses on important aspects of boxing making sure defensive technique is understood

The guy knows his stuff. I had some boxing experience when we started, but a few bad habits. I feel like I learned something new literally every time we trained, and I was able to actually apply it in the ring. I think I got more than what I paid for honestly 🤷‍♂️.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First, we will conduct an evaluation to determine your needs. Then we will set goals to achieve. Finally, we create a custom program to implement our plan.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

17 years of boxing experience with world champion fighters.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Depending on services needed. Range from $50-$85.

How did you get started teaching?

Growing up in the gym gave me the opportunity to learn from some of the best. For the past 5 years I have been able to pass that knowledge down to my students who have grown tremendously.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with everyone from professional Bare Knuckle fighters to children with no experience at all.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Make sure the instructor can fight, or has trained people that can fight. Ask to watch them spar someone or to watch one of their students. Anyone can hold pads for you, but very few have the insight to know what's effective in the ring or on the street.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Be honest about what you are looking for. Our program that just gets you in shape will be less intense than our program that prepares you to compete as an amateur or professional. We can accommodate your needs for fitness and self defense as well as becoming a skilled fighter, as long as we know what you actually want.
