About
I’m a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutrition Coach and Fitness Nutrition Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
I am honored to be part of the highly rated team of professionals at Physical Fusion Training Center in Lombard, IL.
*****I would love to work with everyone I meet, unfortunately I only have a limited number of openings each month, so serious inquiries only please. Also please note that I’m located in Lombard, IL. Nutrition coaching can be done online.*****
• For Personal Training I offer a free movement and postural assessment so we can come up with a plan that is safe and appropriate for you and your unique needs.
• For nutrition coaching clients, I offer a free 30 minute phone consultation. We work together on a plan that is very flexible and sustainable.
•I work with you personally and address your individual and specific needs.
•I pay close attention to progress and make changes when needed to maximize the your progression.
•I ensure you are comfortable with the process and empower you to achieve your goals.
I DO NOT:
•Artificially inflate my prices and then give “discounts,”
•Put you on fad diets that leave you worse than you started.
•Plug you into a generic program that is “one size fits all” and hope it works for you.
•Try to get you to join a multilevel marketing program to sell supplements.
Each client I work with is treated as an individual that deserves the highest attention and respect. I have had the opportunity to work with all types of athletes, from world class to beginners; I am also currently the only trainer at a senior living community so I have experience with senior fitness needs. This wide range of experience has given me a unique insight into how to provide appropriate plans to clients so they can attain both their fitness and life goals, no matter where they may be starting from.
**I do offer monthly packages which include full time gym membership. **
I’m also a competitive and sponsored obstacle course athlete. In 2015 I was ranked #1 in age in the Spartan Race Open division in the US and top 10 worldwide. Before the end of the season I started racing in the Elite division. Since becoming an elite athlete I have been able to obtain a handful of Masters Elite podium finishes.
I love watching my clients reach each milestone in their journey to their health and wellness goals. Changes usually start happening pretty quickly in the abilities of the client and seeing their confidence increase right away makes it very exciting to work with each client to achieve their goals.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I meet with clients to determine their goals and make a training and/or nutrition plan based on their goals. I also do a postural and movement assessment to ensure that I can develop a plan that will address any possible postural distortions and correct them while we work towards reaching the client’s goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutrition Coach, and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. I’m also CPR/AED Certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is based on the frequency of training sessions. Nutrition coaching is available as well.
How did you get started teaching?
My passion for fitness and helping people live their best life has always driven me towards a career in the fitness industry. I know how much being active has helped me maintain a healthy physical and mental state and I wanted to help others obtain that too. I have the utmost respect for those who have the courage to make a positive change in their lives. I am dedicated to helping people feel better and get results.
What types of students have you worked with?
Because of my background as an obstacle course racer, I have had the opportunity to train with all levels of athletes.
I am also the sole provider of training at a senior living community. This has helped me hone my corrective and functional movement skills.
My clients range from competitive USA gymnasts to busy professionals trying to get in better shape, to 93 year old seniors working to maintain their independence.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently received a text from one of my clients thanking me for the work we were doing together. She told me that training with me has changed every aspect of her life; it has given her more confidence and energy. A short time later her husband called me and asked to start training with me too. He said he saw the difference in his wife, he wanted to feel like that too.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The client should always come first. Client respect is the foundation of a successful training relationship. The goal of the client is of the utmost importance. A trainer should have the ultimate goal of teaching the client to eventually workout knowledgeably and effectively on their own. Clients should also be sure the professional has liability insurance.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should make sure the trainers are credentialed. Students should ask if the program is personalized to their specific needs or if the trainer will be using a preset plan. The student should be sure that their goals are aligned with the type of program the trainer provides.
