I am a certified personal trainer through the International Sports & Sciences Assoc. (ISSA). My certifications include: fitness trainer, strength & conditioning for sports, performance nutrition, exercise therapy & corrective exercise therapy. I have worked with physical therapist in the DMC & restorative movement therapist. I've been training for over 20 years and provide many training styles that help you move better and get stronger. I train the body that way it was designed to move! My experience consists of training the adult population that have experienced knee & hip replacements, shoulder & hernia surgeries as well as special population clients that have had strokes or have parkinsons disease,
Helping people accomplish things they never thought they could do and helping members get stronger and more athletic! Helping people get more confidence through building mental toughness! Encouraging people of all ages to learn the proper fundamentals & mechanics of training that will provide them, whether in sport or in life, the ability to navigate & function at a high level.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will typically start with an evalution & physical assestment of the client's history to determine if client has any past injuries, this allows me to create a training program specific to their needs & abilities.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have received mutiple certifications through the International Sports & Sciences Assoc. (ISSA). I was an NCAA scholarship athlete & have worked with many amatuer & professional athletes as well as many special poplulation clients for over 20 years.

I typically charge a monthly fee that is determined by the number of sessions of trainings per week.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been an athlete my entire life & have always been passionate about training, nutrition & helping others.
What types of students have you worked with?
In the past 20 years I have worked with people of all abilities, both men, women & children, from athletes to non-athletes & every type in between.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that the trainer is experienced & knowledgeable in the kinetic movement of the body to provide a learning experience that allows proper mechanical movements to create a strong athletic & mobile body. Make sure that they are also looking out for the most important thing...your safety & well being at all times.
