Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Starting out I fully assess the clients current fitness abilities and health history. This gives me a better understanding of where to start with the client. Then we have a goal setting process. This is where we will set achieveable goals for the clients and design a program to progress towards those goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
NESTA Certified Personal Trainer.
NESTA Certified physique and figure training specialist.
NESTA Certified Group Fitness instructor.

How did you get started teaching?
I have always been an athlete and have had a love for fitness for as long as I can remember. I decided that I wanted to help people achieve that same feeling and better themselves both physically and in life.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students that are at all types of fitness levels from true beginners to advanced athletes. Children to Seniors. Also, I have worked with clients that have had previous injuries and diabetes.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone that you truly enjoy working with. The main reason you are needing a personal trainer is to keep you motivated and consistent with exercise. If you do not enjoy working with them then you will not have a great experience. I strive to make sure my clients never feel like they have been pushed too hard and that training can be enjoyable.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I think the biggest question you should ask yourself is why? Why are you wanting to do this? If your why is big enough there will be no excuses as to why you cannot achieve your goals.
