What is your typical process for working with a new student?

An assesment is the most important thing before we get started.


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Work Experience Share 4 Life June 2012

· Conducting fitness class, while demonstrating the correct way to execute exercises.

· Talked about health and fitness and new dietary programs during Health Fair. 


· Explaining to senior citizens the results they can expect from particular exercise regimes.

Parks and Recreation June 2012

· Advised students on recreation and fitness exercises during Health Fair.

· Motivated students to participate in sports and fun activities, while participating in a 1-minute obstacle course.

Police Athletic League (PAL) June 2012

· Advised students on recreation and fitness exercises during neighborhood "PAL Play Street" event.

· Motivated students to participate in sports and fun activities, while participating in a 1-minute obstacle course.

Link Fitness April 2011 - Present

· Teach a wide variety of fitness classes in various formats, skill levels, and intensities.

· Instruct group exercise classes, including low-, medium- and high-impact cardio aerobics, calisthenics, toning and stretching, among others.

· Provide personal training to individuals to maximize workout efficiency, improve fitness, increase stamina, and improve overall sense of well-being.

· Monitor and instruct new clients regarding safe and effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility and strength training equipment.

· Deliver lectures to members about fitness regime.

· Keep members' attendance record, and collect fees at the end of the month.

· Develop personalized training plans for clients, based on individual needs.

Before hiring anyone figure out your goals or you what you're trying to accomplish. Helps you move forward faster.
