The first step is just understanding your particular goals. Not just what kind of fitness goals you have but WHY those goals matter to you and how important they are. Along the way we'll get a little health and wellness history and from there, we can start building a plan to help you achieve your specific goals. That part is key. We are very much a results-oriented club and you deserve results for your hard work. Our job is to make sure you get there.

I grew up a big boxing fan and martial arts enthusiast but my career was all about video games. I worked in the industry for about 25 years but like a lot of people who spend a lot of time on the computer, I began to get more and more out of shape as I got older. Martial arts weren't giving me the kick in the butt that I needed and that's when I truly realized that if something doesn't challenge you, it's not going to change you. I committed to boxing training, lost 60 pounds in the process at age 40, and decided my destiny lay in helping other people achieve that kind of health and well-being. From there I got certified, moved to Rochester, and opened TITLE Boxing Club.
I really am being honest when I say ALL TYPES! I have trained 5 year-olds and folks in their 70s. I would say the vast majority have never done any boxing or kickboxing before. Some are very deconditioned and just looking for something to get them moving again, so are already pretty active but have hit a plateau and need to mix things up. If you are looking to learn how to box or defend yourself in anyway, I am the ideal person to work with.
