My name is Joann Guerra. I have a Masters in Physical Education and I am certified as a Personal Trainer through The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I am a teacher and a personal trainer. I have been training at a gym corporation for 4 years and ever since COVID-19 hit in March 2020, I have been training my clients privately, which is how I established Peak Fitness Inc.
My passion for fitness started over 10 years ago when I was a high school and college athlete playing softball. The discipline needed to succeed in the sport, made me realize the importance of exercise and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
During my last year of high school I tore my ACL, which was a huge set back that got in the way of what I loved. During this recovery time is when I fell in love with fitness even more. The hard work, strength, discipline and determination I had forced me to be better than I was the day before.
I now apply what I learned through the years and from my personal training certification to create personalized, custom workouts for each of my clients. I believe in creating a physical foundation by focusing on your fitness goals and working with you to achieve a healthy lifestyle. The excitement I see when my clients achieve their goals motivates me to continue training.
I Specialize in different types of training from Strength Training, Functional Training, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Circuit Training, Weight Loss, Muscle Toning, Aerobic & Anaerobic, Stretching Routines for injury recovery, Pre & Post Natal, Online Virtual 1-1 Training- No equipment needed.
