I offer personal training sessions with an emphasis on functional training. I have over 12 years of fitness experience including coaching over 2500 group fitness classes. I am currently NASM CPT certified. I am very passionate about helping clients reach their goals and become a healthier version of themselves.
I also offer boxing/ kickboxing sessions. I have trained in boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and jui-jitsu for over a decade . As a former professional MMA fighter I like to approach workouts from a strategic standpoint. Things we will focus on during sessions include proper stance, correct form, mitt work and overall boxing and conditioning!
What I enjoy most about training clients is seeing them achieve more than they thought possible. It makes me happy to my core see people accomplish their goals, and that I get to be a part of it!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Normally I like to do a consult to get started, find out what my client is looking for and what their goals are. From there I usually do some sort of physical assessment to find out if their are specific things we need to work on or any limiting injuries.
The next step is to find out how many hours a week you want to dedicate towards your goal. We done come up with a prescription and schedule to help you accomplish your goals.

How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching in the Air Force as a physical training leader. Although before that I participated in high school athletics.
From their I started training in MMA and jiu-jitsu, from their I moved on to competing. During that time I also coached our athlete strength and conditioning as well as kids classes.
After leaving MMA I started to coach kickboxing hiit style classes, and Orangetheory fitness classes. I have also done personal training during this time as well!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students. I have coached women, men, children, people on their first day of their fitness journey, college athletes and professional athletes!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure to think about your goals. Have specific goals you wish to accomplish. Make sure whoever you choose to work with sees you as more than a number. Whether you choose to work with me or not, make sure you find a trainer who truly wants to see you succeed!
