We have a few different pricing options for attending classes whether on a monthly basis or pay per class basis. We also offer discounts for multi-family, LEO, military, teacher, college student, EMT, nurses and firefighters.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types! Men, women, teens, kids, stay at home parents/spouses, athletes, non-athletes, bankers, teachers, police, college students, nurses, doctors, lawyers, office managers, waiters, waitresses, bartenders, baristas etc, etc, etc.... We believe in a Krav 4 All concept!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Our most recent Women Empowered class had 28 kick-ass women who crushed it! The energy, fight and grit was phenomenal.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't fall for the 'mystique' of the instructor or the "all you have to do is..." Self-defense involves fighting against someone who will push, pull, spin, level change etc throughout the fight. There is no simple technique or answer. It takes training and reps to feel these energies, build tactile sensitivity and respond appropriately.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
The number one question to ask yourself is: Will I be committed to training? Like ANYTHING in life, practice/training/reps MATTER! Learning self-defense is a skill that IS perishable. Yes, remembering how to strike and make movements can be remembered, BUT timing and distance and reflexes and tactile sensitivity will perish without consistent training NO MATTER what the 'system' or instructor tries to promise.
