What is your typical process for working with a new student?
To conduct an evaluation of their physical ability then make a program to get their body moving in a multi-planar fashion. We will begin with basic movements, footwork and punches and proceed accordingly to keep it challenging and fresh for the student!

How did you get started teaching?
While being in the Marine Corps, I began to instruct other Marines in MCMAP and have loved it ever since. MCMAP encompasses lots disciplines so I began to dive deeper into other martial arts and have found love for boxing and jui-jitsu! Now I love sharing it with the world and getting people healthier and looking better in the process!!!
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly middle aged women and men looking to learn some self-defense while getting back into shape! I am working exclusively with 4 kids aged between 7-13.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Mcgregor Vs. Mayweather was a great show for both sports of MMA and Boxing. A true test of champions battling it out!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who is willing to push you!!!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What experience level is the coach used to coaching at?
Is it one discipline or will it cover many?
