IMA Houston Karate

IMA Houston karate association has been open since 1987, Sensei Patrick Richoux recognise Black Belt 7th degree has been doing martial art since his young age , Judo, Aikido, Westling, Savate , Boxe , Tai chi , Goshin Jutsu and Karate. He has been in two National Karate Team, France and USA, competed at the world level and coach world class athletes, start his first school in 1987 and now have severals schools . Traditional and sport karate are part of his teaching , self defense is also a complement of his classes . Kids 4 years old where karate is a start to initiate youth to get discipline , balance, cordination , learning skills . Family and working in groups are very important to IMA houston karate. Since I start martial art I knew I was going to be teaching later in my life , I was tought to help the others and be a leader , I enjoy to give what I learn during my 50 years in martial art, I continue to learn by watching my students everyday, seeing my kids and athletes winning or achiving they goals . Medals , Trophees , getting a new belts , passing they Black Belts , having the parents participing in kids activities . IMA karate is a big family where no races , no religions are involved ....
