Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
During the initial visit I will have my client, parents or guardian of underage clients fill out a basic questionaire to get to know my clients better. Past experiences, playing experience, medical history, goals, etc. 1st session is an evaluation process. I want to see where you are at and I will give you my assessment. We talk goals more in depth. Pricing and scheduling. We will also talk concerns or questions of any sort.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am ISSA certified in Personal Training. I attended Texas A&M-University Kingsville and was a 4 year letter in Football as a WR. I attended the University of Mary and played basketball for 1 year. Growing up I played select soccer for the Texans and Classics soccer clubs before football and basketball took over my schedule and athletic desires. I ran track for the afterburners track club located in Missouri City.

How did you get started teaching?
I started when I was in college with my teammate. We went to a small town in poteet to train his cousin Quinn Ewers which is now the number 1 QB in the nation in the 2022 class. We held a camp for him and his buddies. After college we continued to train football players through a company we helped build called THE QUARTERBACK RANCH located in the DFW of Texas. We then went from just football to Speed and Agility training, to Strength training, and then to some other sports.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have primarily worked with the age groups of 1st grade to the pro level. I have worked with some athletes as young as 4/5 years old. Across the following sports; Football, basketball, track, and soccer. Also worked with weightlifters and personal training clients.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was given the unique opportunity to work with a lot of professional athletes this past summer. Notably James Harden. Another trainer and myself helped James during the pandemic and quarantine to stay in shape and work to improve his footwork during the NBAs shutdown.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would tell them to pick someone you can understand and someone you trust. If you share these two things you will work hard for them.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How will their instructor go about helping them achieve their goals.
