About this pro

Hi my name is Jessica and the owner of Whatever It Takes Fitness! As an In-Home Personal Trainer and an Army Veteran, fitness is in the center of everything I do. I am committed to helping everyone I come in contact with become the best version of themselves. As a Weight Loss Management Specialist I am adept at creating a warm environment in which clients of all ages, health status, and training levels can successfully achieve health and wellness goals.

The best part? I come to you! You don't need to have a gym membership or even a lot of space for me to train you. I have all the equipment necessary to provide a functional, efficient, and personalized workout in the convenience of your own home or neighborhood park.

I am firm believer that change is always possible. If you are committed to making a change I will be dedicated to helping you achieve it!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

The first appointment will be a sit-down talk to go over goals, past/present injuries, likes/dislikes about fitness, and what led you to seek out a trainer.  Next will be a fitness and flexibility assessment to gauge where you are so we know how to proceed with a fitness plan.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Ace Certified Personal Trainer, Weight Loss Management Specialist.

How did you get started teaching?

After an injury to my neck I couldn't workout for 2 years.  After I had neck surgery I told myself I would never take working out or my health for granted again.  It is my passion to help others overcome fitness related difficulties.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with all types of clients.  Old and young, fit and unfit, military, clients with injuries.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Do your research. Not all trainers are created equal. Make sure you have a trainer that understands your goals, listens, and has a plan.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Have a specific goal in mind, and realize that there may be many smaller goals that will need to be met in order to get to the end result. Think about how many days a week you realistically can commit to change.  Who will be your support system, and what changes are you willing to make.
