About

My goal is to help my clients achieve their goals. Taking them through a structured system that not only will help them achieve their goals but will help with any muscle imbalances, posture, and form.

I am currently certified through NASM (National Academy Of Sports Medicine). I have been heavily involved with fitness for about 4 years. This industry is constantly changing and always growing and I love being apart of it.

Frequently asked questions

We always do a free fitness consultation.

During the consultation I will ask questions such as goals, interests, and health concerns. I also use this time to get to know my client and encourage them to do the same, to ask questions and familiarize themselves with what I do and my background.

After the initial questions and talking I will take you through the equipment we offer at the gym and make sure you are using proper form. This will also help me asses your fitness capabilities and what we can improve on. I will also use this time to perform some basic fitness assessments such as a push and pull test and an OHSA (Over head squat assessment). These will help me to personally customize a specific plan just for my client should they choose to hire me as their personal trainer.

A certification through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine)

I also work in a gym where I am constantly exposed to all things fitness.

I would work out alone or with my friends, and I would always get asked questions such as “Am I doing this right?” “What do you do?”. I found myself always helping them, and I really enjoyed it. From there I decided to get certified so I could properly help others and make a career out of it.

I have worked with young adults and seniors.

I have also worked with special case seniors ie. arthritis, diabetic, and overweight.

Finding a personal trainer is more than finding someone who has a lot of knowledge in their field. It really comes down to compatibility. If you are not comfortable and do not connect with your trainer you are less likely to succeed because you won’t find the fun in training and will not be motivated to get into the gym. But if you find the trainer that you can connect with, they will be better able to motivate you and make you feel comfortable while also pushing you to be your best.

Try to be realistic with your goals. No long turn goal can be achieved in a couple days, it will take time.

I always suggest keeping a journal and documenting every question you might have so that when you get to the consultation you won’t miss anything!
