About
Hi! My name is Amanda Salazar and I am the Owner of Edge Fitness. I’m located in Tumwater, WA and my clients train with me here at my fitness facility to achieve their health and fitness goals. I am a personal trainer, whole foods nutritionist, weight-loss specialist, and motivational speaker. My session price includes the in-session workout, workout homework (workouts I send home for you to do on your own), nutrition planning, and measurements!

I have a passion for helping people reach the goals they once thought were not attainable, empowering them to achieve more than they thought possible, and helping them to transform their mind and body, so they can live heather and happier lifestyles!

Meet Your Personal Transformation Coach -- Amanda Price-Salazar As a child and young adult, Amanda dealt with obesity, low energy, depression, eating disorders, and exercise addiction. She needed help. She found that help through a personal trainer, nutritionist, and involvement in a variety of local sports groups and athletic club fitness classes. She continued by educating herself in the areas of nutrition, weight-loss management, and safe exercise techniques -- she finally made the change to becoming a healthier and happier person. Today, she is a certified personal trainer, nutrition advisor, and owner of Edge Fitness (formerly Fit4Life Personal Training). Knowing the importance of proper nutrition and exercise habits, Amanda shares her knowledge, motivation, experience and skills, promoting life-long healthy lifestyles. In August 2006, a motorcycle accident added a new dimension to Amanda's life. Faced with a broken back, hip, and pelvis, she was determined to recover and stay in shape. Working diligently with a physical therapist for over one year, she gradually grew back to being in shape and even stronger than before she was before the accident. Amanda's exuberance for life plus her new found insight and knowledge regarding physical injuries and recovery has aided her to better support her clients as they strive toward achieving their own health and fitness goals.

Depending on program sessions are $25-$59/session.
How did you get started teaching?
I was motivated by my own personal trainer after my weight-loss transformation with him. He saw I that had such a passion for health, fitness and helping others that he convinced me to become a certified fitness instructor and trainer!
What types of students have you worked with?
ALL! My clients range from 9 years old to 81 years old currently. All with different health concerns and fitness needs.
