Growing up, Alia Phillips experienced a variety of sports. She participated in gymnastics, horseback riding, softball, volleyball, dance, track, cheerleading, skiing, and cross-country. Her background has given her a great appreciation for the human body and its abilities. Her gratitude impassioned her love for health and fitness. Today, Alia has graduated with an AA in Kinesiology, a B.S. in Exercise Science, as well as acquired her certification through the American Council on Exercise (ACEFITNESS), a NCCA-accredited personal trainer program. As well as an impressive background in education, she also has years of valuable experience from working in physical therapy clinics as well as land and aquatics therapy at the Brown Disability Center.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
we will provide all the equipment you need for your customized program. Every session has a holistic approach as it includes a warm up, a series of physical activity, strength building, cool down, nutrition, and education. Our goal is to help you live a better, happier, and healthier life! Each client will be completely evaluated starting with a 30-45 minute sit down where we discuss goals, diet, past injuries, and bad habits. From there, we will take a look at your stability, balance, and body mechanics to find any imbalances or weakness that may be causing surrounding areas to over compensate. We will also measure your body through a Fat Test, Strength Test, and Movement Test in order to design the perfect program to obtain your goals. Every 6 weeks we will reevaluate your progress. During this time we’ll celebrate your accomplishments, set new goals, and enhance your program for better results.
