How did you get started teaching?
After I got out of the Marine Corps I continued my passion for fitness by competing in the 2017 Men's LA Championship Physique competition and did very will.
This sparked my desire to become a trainer and continue to make a difference in other people's lives.
I attended the National Personal Training Institute in Newport Beach for a year and graduated from the course as an Advanced NASM CPT.
I had several great mentors who advised me to start my independent business as a trainer coach and that is where American Grit Personal Training began!

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently finished a 3 year training program with a 14 year old boy who was Obese and Pre-Diabetic when his parents came to me for help.
He dropped 40 pounds and leaned out successfully from putting in the work consistently every week and he no longer has the risks associated with becoming diabetic.
His story is a True testament of the ability for anyone to change their lives for the better with healthy eating and fitness.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise any potential client to ensure they are working with a trainer who has the education and experience to efficiently help them achieve their goals in a realistic timeline.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
•What is your specific goal?
•In what amount of time are you looking to achieve your goal?
•Are you ready to commit to a program and be consistent?
•Are you ready to make specific lifestyle changes in order to help you be successful in training?
•Are you willing to be disciplined both mentally and physically and turn fitness into a lifestyle?
•Are you going to be a complainer or an action taker?
Training requires COMMITMENT and I only work with Clients who are 100% commited to being SUCCESSFUL!!
