What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get a feel for what the student can do and help them accomplish their goals at their pace.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a black sash in Kung Fu, a brown belt in Japanese Jujitsu, an orange belt in Kodokan Judo, and a certified combatives instructor. I also have experience in Boxing and Kickboxing.

Have the courage to approach them and ask all the questions you can!

Know your goals. For example, getting in shape, self defense, competition, etc. This will let you know if your teacher can help you.
