About
Debbie Hudson is an American College of Sports Medicine Certified personal trainer and hold a Precision Nutrition level 1 certification. She has been working in this field since 2007. She received her AAS.EXS in Exercise Science in 2007. She attended Eastern Michigan University from 1979-1984 and studied Business/Marketing. For the last 20 years, she has competed in the sport of Olympic-style weightlifting at the Senior and Master’s level. Her achievements in weightlifting include, four-time silver medalist at the World Masters, three-time silver medalist at the Pan American Masters and four-time National champion at the National Masters. Debbie is a USA Weightlifting National Coach and Sports Performance Coach and is an instructor assistant for USA Weightlifting Level 1 & 2 Courses. She is Head Coach and Managing Director of Great Lakes Barbell Club, a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization that is a USA Weightlifting affiliated club. Additionally, Debbie holds the CrossFit Advanced Weightlifting Trainer Certificate and is a Trainer for Mike Burgener’s team (Burgener Strength) that teaches the CrossFit Weightlifting Specialty Course. Debbie is an International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) Category I Technical Official. She is CPR/AED certified.
