Shunpookan Aikido USA, founded in 2005 by Sensei Gilbert, is a highly respected traditional Japanese martial arts school located in Gastonia, North Carolina, with additional dojos in South Carolina and Oklahoma. As a part of the international Shunpookan Aikido system, this school offers practical and effective martial art training that is accessible to both men and women of all experiences. Their classes, aim to bring practical self defense and traditional aikido to the local community. Shunpookan AIkido USA is a member of the American Self Defense Federation.
