About
What makes me different is that I can work with a wide variety of people, and I am one of few who is very well organized. I track the results and keep the regimen transparent to the each of my clients so they can be aware of the exercises and their purposes. I also use laymens terms to explain physiological and anatomical functions and structures, but I also give the scientific names. This makes our very complex bodies easier to understand.
I have been training others since 2003 and I worked with people for the purposes of bodyfat reduction, strengthening, coordination, balance and flexibility. There are also other aspects of fitness and sports performance that I've developed such as reactivity, agility, gait work and proprioception.
Success comes to people who can implement the changes as needed, and it stays with those who embrace the changes. Some notable success have been weight loss of 40 pounds, gaining muscle, improving comfort of movement, increasing speed, and improving general health.
I love making it fun. I make jokes about myself and the very nature of training itself. Also, it's important to understand that the exercises are meant to be challenging, but I encourage people to give just a little more effort than the last time and to go a little farther than before. The quality of that effort will improve as well. Those small moments of each session really do matter in the future because they add up to excellence that my clients are seeking.
