I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. I have worked as a Physical Therapy Aide for over 2 years. Due to my experience dealing with all demographics of people ranging from children to the elderly I am able to create programs for people of all fitness levels. I also have experience dealing with specific injuries when training individuals.
My work is extremely fulfilling. I enjoy teaching people proper form when exercising. More so, I enjoy seeing my clients make progress from week to week. It is a special moment when a client thanks you for helping them achieve their goal which they have sought after for so long.
I was a former track star, but after my torn ACL I never went back to training or did any form of exercise. After months of sulking, I came across pat and he changed my life. He changed my outlook on exercise and made me fall back in love with the gym! I definitely recommend him. He made individualized meal plans and he made sure that he would keep in touch with me at all times. He doesn’t only change you life, he changes your mindset.
Typically I perform a basic assessment with my new clients. The basic assessment involves an Overhead Squat Assessment followed by a postural assessment. I follow this up with an evaluation of basic levels of fitness utilizing a 1-minute step test, push up test and plank test. The initial assessment allows me to evaluate my clients current fitness level so that I may create an effective program to meet their goals.
I have worked as a Physical Therapists Aide for over two years. I have been trained in various corrective exercises in this time. I am also a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer.
