We have been in business teaching student-athletes for the last 15 years. We have a teaching background as well as an athletic background that allows us to relate to the student-athletes we interact with and help grow. Our goal is to create better athletes but more importantly better people.
I have been working with children of all ages since I was a high school student. The opportunity to interact and teach children is rewarding in itself but when you see yourself truly making a difference in their childhood whether it be athletically, mentally or socially there is not a better feeling.
My son has been playing for this organization for almost a year now. Best thing we've done for him sports wise to date. Kevin's game has improved immensely. Our whole family enjoys going out and watching the boys play. Craig has put together a first class operation complete with professional coaching and an outstanding facility.
This is the only baseball facility worth going to. Incredible staff that is professional and patient. Extremely clean and meticulously maintained. Energy is very positive and there are so many programs to choose from. My boys do both private and clinics. Best investment!
My son was at another training facility and by far CK's is much better. They take their time to address and correct the issues. My son's game has improved and he is much happier here. The facility is clean and the owner and staff are really friendly. Two thumbs up!
CK's Baseball is a family owned and operated business that treats its clients like family members. The owners, Craig and Lisa, go above and beyond to make every experience at their facility memorable. My son has taken a few classes and the level of instruction is top notch. Birthday parties are run completely smoothly and everyone is made to feel special, especially the guest of honor! I highly recommend this facility to anyone interested in being fully immersed in baseball!
The ability to work with and teach children whether it be a student or student-athlete is unique to each individual because everyone is different. Trying to get to know someone helps break any potential early apprehension or tension by asking some basic questions; favorite show? favorite food? etc. This way the development and abililty to interact can begin and the basis of instructing becomes easier when people can relate with one another.
I have been working with children for over 20 years as a counselor, high school teacher and baseball coach. I graduated from college with a degree in Physical Education and Exercise Science as well as competing at a Division I collegiate level in baseball. I also had a professional tryout with the Montreal Expos after college and have been teaching/instructing baseball for the past 15 years.
Our pricing structure will vary depending on the number of sessions interested in. We offer different packages that are standard but there are many options to choose from. This would be better discussed upon interaction for scheduling to avoid confusion.
I started teaching as that was my degree upon graduating from college. In addition, I had been working with children since being a teen-ager.
I have worked with students of all different ages from as young as pre-school age through adult age. I have worked with students of all different abilities and backgrounds so my experience is extensive.
We hosted a 10 year anniversary in our current location and had hundreds of people attend help celebrate our special occasion.
Look for someone that has experience working with children as well as experience and knowledge in the area of expertise you are seeking.
