  • Deniece Santana

She is an AMAZING instructor! Her energy is infectious and her routines are easy to follow, yet current with the music trends of today. You will get an awesome workout with Jovana. I would definitely take her class again, and would hands down recommend others to try out her class as well.

  • Kristina Powell

I love this woman. Her Zumba choreo and energy is amazing. She is such a sweet and humble person, which is a plus because many zumba instructors i have came across are full of themselves and are stand offish. Would definitely recommend her class.

  • Christina Camacho

This instructor definitely makes working out fun, with her upbeat music and motivating personality. You will definitely leave her class feeling accomplished, and did I mention extremely sweaty? Jovana is definitely one of my favorite instructors. She always puts in the extra effort to help with one's form or just to give them that extra push we sometimes need when we feel like giving up.

Truly enjoy doing Jovana's classes, you can tell how passionate she is about what she does through the enthusiam, high intensity and good energy she always brings into them. Throughout her class she makes sure to explain and show you the proper forms and/or modification to each movement, making the class acomodating to all fitness level. Her outgoing personality, verbal explanation and visual guidance during class, make it simple to follow and quite enjoyable.

How did you get started teaching?

I started as a student of a fitness class. The enviroment I was in, was so motivational and I thought to myself, I would love to do this. I would love to help motivate and inspire. I went up to the teacher at the time and asked for advice on how to begin and thats where it all started.

What types of students have you worked with?

All kinds honestly, All walks of life and all ages.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Recently, I joined 4 other instructors and we put together a Zumbathon charity event to help all those affected by the natural disasters that have been going on recently. We encouraged people to not only donate but to bring any supplies to send over. The turn out was amazing and it was a beautiful thing to watch people come together to help out.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

My advice would be, to know what kind of experience you are looking for. There are so many different teachers with different styles.  Try to find a teacher who would cater to that, so that you would be more inclined to continue to attend classes,
