What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process is I like to get to know the individual. Their likes, their dislikes, any discomforts. I like to cater to their needs because every one comes at different fitness levels and I would never want anyone to feel as if they cannot do something. I want them to feel comfortable with me and I want them to leave feeling accomplished.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my AFAA Group fitness Certification.
Zumba B1 & B2 License
Zumba Pro Skills License

How did you get started teaching?
I started as a student of a fitness class. The enviroment I was in, was so motivational and I thought to myself, I would love to do this. I would love to help motivate and inspire. I went up to the teacher at the time and asked for advice on how to begin and thats where it all started.
What types of students have you worked with?
All kinds honestly, All walks of life and all ages.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently, I joined 4 other instructors and we put together a Zumbathon charity event to help all those affected by the natural disasters that have been going on recently. We encouraged people to not only donate but to bring any supplies to send over. The turn out was amazing and it was a beautiful thing to watch people come together to help out.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice would be, to know what kind of experience you are looking for. There are so many different teachers with different styles. Try to find a teacher who would cater to that, so that you would be more inclined to continue to attend classes,
