About

I am a mom to two incredible kids navigating my personal and professional life through the ups, downs and uncertainty that is this time. Like so many other mama's out there, I use to feel guilty about pursuing my goals and taking time just for me. There was a period of time where it felt like my life was on hold and my only job was to care for those around me. I put so much pressure on myself to be everything to everyone and guess what? It didn't work. When my kids used to be my excuse for not figuring it out and pursuing my dreams, they have now become my motivation and inspirations to not settle, to reach higher and be relentless in pursuit of my goals.

I am a transformation coach who supports women just like you, to lose the guilt and gain the confidence to live the life of your dreams. I certainly don't have all of the answers but I am committed to creating greater impact by supporting you in reaching your highest level of potential in both your personal and professional life.

This work is absolutely life-changing! I have personally experienced the power of coaching as well as being a part of other peoples metamorphasis and there's nothing like seeing that flash in someone's eyes when it clicks.

As cliche as it sounds, life is too short to play small, to not go for it, to worry about what other people will think.

    Frequently asked questions

I typically begin with a phone consultation where we get to learn a little more about each other. I ask questions about your goals, values, background and history and create space to have you ask me questions as well. This is just as much an interview for me as it is for you so it’s only fair to allow you to ask some questions to see if we are the right fit.

We then discuss, prices, availability, and book out the first session if you are ready to go. I will follow up with an email and a couple of forms to have you fill out prior to our initial session.

Our first session is typically different as we are doing a variety of exercises to determine your fitness level and style. From there, I design a program that will support your goals while staying within your current fitness level.

It's a funny story, because had someone told me that I would be in the fitness industry and a personal trainer and lifestyle coach 10 years ago, I wouldn't have believed them.

I was a fulltime college student and had been working in a CPA firm for the last 5 years. I wanted my taste of working in the corporate world and wearing business clothes. It was a great experience and I learned a lot about myself but it wasn't for me. I was looking for a place to workout where I could meet people and have an escape from stress and everyday life. Enter Diva Den Studio! They had a week free pass and I thought, why the heck not. The studio was small and only offered a few classes but I was hooked. I started attending regularly and when the now owner of Diva Den Studio became sick and asked me if I wanted to teach the class for her, I was neverous and thought she was crazy. That was my first taste of teaching. Soon after, I was encouraged to get my license to teach Zumba. After some convincing, I did! Then things just started snowballing. I realized that when I was teaching, I would experience a level of joy like nothing else. The best part was that it felt effortless and people would approach me saying that I had really inspired them. I took a huge leap of faith when I quit my job where I was making good and steady money to work in an industry that wasn't always so stable. Truth is, even though it can be extremely stressfuln and unpredicatable at times, there's no where else i'd rather be.

I have worked with so many different people, varying in age, ability and motivation. I have learned something from every person I have come in contact with and continue to grow as a trainer and coach.

I have come to realize that there is someone for everyone and that I was doing a disservice to my clients by just taking anyone. I have gotten more picky about who I take as a client over the last couple of years because I am not just in it to make money, but to really make a difference and leave a lasting change in the people I serve.

Now, I work with women who are tired of dieting, tired of the quick fix and are tired of making the same goals over and over again and never seeing the results. I support my clients in defining their values, uncovering the whys, discovering the blocks that keep them from taking action and not just dreaming about the lifestyle they desire, but actually living it.

If you are someone who is dedicated, committed and really seeking to change the quality of your life, I am ready to work with you!

I have been working with a client for over a year now and her success story always brings a smile to my face. When she first came to me, she was going through a hard time having just lost her father. She is a mom of three with a busy job and she seemed lost, like she didn't even know who she was at the moment or what she was capable of. She had a real negative view of herself which she reflected out to the world. She was so focused on all of the things that went wrong that she never took the time to enjoy or appreciate the things that were going right. We worked on mindset and positive affirmations and looking at things from a different perspective as well as getting her in shape physically. A year later, she was down more that 10% body fat and several sizes in clothes. Although those were great things to celebrate, was just a bonus to the real transformation which was her confidence, her view of herself and the way she views life. The small shifts in her mindset, created a domino effect in all areas of her life and it's so exciting to see and work with her today!

My advise to anyone looking for a personal trainer or coach is to do your research. You are not only investing your money but your time. You can always make more money, but you can’t get back time. It’s important to find the right person to support you in your journey.

Write down what you are looking for in a trainer or coach and then look for the person who aligns with your values.

Before talking to a potential trainer or coach, imagine yourself 3 months from now, 6 months from now, maybe even a year from now. What in your life has changed because of your decision to work with a coach or trainer? What was your experience like working with that person and what role have they played in supporting you with your goals.

Once you have an idea of what you want to acheive and in what time frame, come up with the questions that will show you if this potential coach or trainer aligns with your end goal.
