My services stand out due to my knowledge and understanding of what I provide. My services are centered around liftting weights (resistance training). It is what I do on a daily basis. I provide sessions for students who want to learn about lifting weights. Included with weight training is nutrition coaching for students as well. Meal plans (with measurements) are provided to help students feel less anxious about what to eat and how much to eat. If you are not interested in personal training and are just looking for new workouts I also have seperate programs designed for those who want to push themselves witha new workout. Lastly, online coaching is also a service provided if you are not in the immediate area. You will be given a profile (for free) where you will have access to workouts, video demonstration of workouts and meal plan built in.
What I enjoy about the work is obviously the physical change that my clients/students will see. Seeing my clients shape physically change is a beautiful thing to see and inspires me to be better as a trainer everyday. But, I argue that the mental shift my clients receive is actually more rewarding. Seeing their confidence level rise and see them break unhealthy habit is what drives me to do what I do.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Process is pretty straight forward! A consultation call is scheduled to get an understanding of the student/client and what their goals are. If student decides to move forward we set a date for the first session. The first sessions is usually fact finding which helps me program the students workouts depending if there are any physical limitations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played played basketball at the collegiate level division 2. While in college I started lifting and over the years it became my passion and now my job. I've been learning about fitness for the past 5 years
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pretty straight forward, there is the typical flat rate per session (1 hr or 30 min session). The other option is a discount package deal which is priced lower at the flat rate. Online services are also available for a monthly rate.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching when I saw the results that I have made for myself over the years. It is my calling and I genuinely love learning and teaching people about fitness and exercise. I decided to leave my corporate job to follow what I am very good at and have a passion for.
What types of students have you worked with?
I generally work with people who want to lose weight or who want to put on muscle.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event I am fond of is the creation of my business. I own an LLC with my business partner. Seeing the business grow and flourish has been a dream come true even when it's in the beginning stages.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The advice I would give is for the student to see if the teacher takes into consideration how they are teaching/explaining why you are doing what you are doing. If they cannot explain it to you that could potentially be a bad sign.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Expectations on how long the process with take. The body takes a long time for change but will take longer if the expectations are not met. This can create doubt within the student in achieving their goal.
